No Rest For The Wicked

So, last weekend I closed the show I have been working on for the last 2 months, "Geeks Vs. Zombies". It was a great run, had great reviews and met a lot of great people in the process! Hopefully some of the connections I made during the run of this show will help me in the future. This crazy career we actors have chosen. The connections you make mean EVERYTHING. You may get lucky if you have the talent, but when you know someone already that is in the business, talent is just icing on the cake (ex. Lindsey Lohan). I don't know how many gigs I have gotten because the person I auditioned for knew someone I have worked with before.

So, with one show behind me, I have already started my next one!!! No rest for the wicked, eh? Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood opened, and it is (from what I have heard) the best year in recent history. Last weekend i had a rehearsal, an employee preview, and opened to sold out houses on both nights of opening weekend. You know, the sound of screams is much more satisfying when you are working next to the Bates Motel and the Psycho house. ;-) I am a walker on the set of The War of the Worlds on the Terror Tram! If you got the cash, and you love Halloween as much as a fat kid loves candy, then you MUST go this year. You won't regret it. :-) Well that is all for now folks. Until next time... BOO!

Geeks Vs. Zombies: Part 2

Well, opening weekend for Geeks Vs. Zombies went SMASHING. The houses were pretty well packed, and they all LOVED the show. One fan actually bought a shirt and a poster at intermission, and wanted all the cast to sign her poster after the show!

We had a couple of celebrities in the house as well! First we had Christine Barger (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1417905/) and James Hong (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0393222/). Although James didn't actually see the show, he said he was interested in coming back to see it!!!!

So Some good news for all of you with money problems... For the next few weeks, we will be having a PAY WHAT YOU CAN deal on Thursdays and Sundays! Take advantage of this while you still can folks!!!!

When You're Strange, People Come Out In The Rain

Hey guys! I know it has been a while, I have been busy and haven't had much time to update. So here we go!!!!!

Universal Studios Update:
I GOT THE JOB!!!!!! Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios this October, I will be a Scare Actor!  I don't know my part yet, but I have orientation on August 31st, so I might know then. :) So if you guys get a chance, come out and see me!!!!

Miceli's Italian Restaurant Update:
Well, I did my final audition a little while ago, and they loved my voice, and said they would love to hire me, but that they are over staffed as it is. The good thing is, that that they told me to come back to their open call audition on the 1st saturday of November! So its possible that I might still be able to get the job there!

Geeks Vs. Zombies Update:
Whelp, only 1 more week until we open this bad boy. We have a run through tonight (in the theater... THANK GOD) and then a tech day on saturday at noon, and final dress on sunday at 8 AM... and then that's it. No more rehearsal until we open on August 16th! I'm kinda nervous, but I think it will be alright. :) If you want to buy tickets, go to http://seatofyourpantsproductions.com/catalog/geeksvszombiesperformances  and you can guarantee yourself a ticket, otherwise, you may get there and it will be sold out!!!!!!

Also, i just updated my website, and created a mobile website. For those who want to look. :)

Geeks Vs. Zombies: part 1

So, I just started rehearsal for a new play in Los Angeles called "Geeks Vs. Zombies"!!! Its written by some friends of mine James Kopp and David Rock. This show is bad ass to the max! Now, this show is not BRAND new, it had a successful run in Bakersfield, CA for two years in a row, so they decided to try their luck in LA.

I play Milo, the tour guide of forty Mathey, a fort the geeks find and take shelter in. The show is a hoot and half to do, and will be a hoot and a hollar to watch!

This is the second show in LA that I have done since graduating from PCPA in 2011. The first being new musical called "Tsarina" at The Grove in Upland. But this is especially exciting for me because this is the first play (not musical) I have done since leaving school. The same method, but a whole new set of rules. Will keep you all posted!
